Velocity Academy Partners with Wakefield Council to deliver Apprenticeship Training

Velocity Academy has partnered with Wakefield Council to deliver Apprenticeship Training to its Application Support Lead and Business Administrator staff.

This partnership is something that Velocity Academy is proud of as our head office is within the Wakefield district, meaning that we are able to create a direct social impact to the futures of those within our local area.

Velocity Academy is a national apprenticeship training provider however, having our direct local roots to working with Wakefield Council holds a lot of intrinsic value.

Velocity Academy’s Managing Director Ben Newbould had this to say on the partnership, ‘Working with Wakefield Council is a testament to the hard work that our staff at Velocity Academy are showing. With our head office and our initial roots when we were a start up training provider being in the Wakefield district, it is fantastic opportunity to have a direct social impact on the local area’.

Velocity Academy currently is working with Wakefield Council, who employs over 8,000 staff, on delivering Level 4 Application Support Lead and Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship training.
