Apprenticeship Quality Co-ordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our growing Quality Department. You will be reporting directly to our Quality Manager with the goal to develop and continue our excellent delivery of apprenticeship provision. This role will touch many points of our apprenticeship deliver, such as internal staff training of best practice teaching, learning and assessment, curriculum planning and timetabling, Apprenticeship gateway planning and monitoring and also learner survey and interviews to further enhance our ‘you said we did’ implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Observations of Teaching, Learning and Assessment for our delivery team
  • Sharing best practice across our different delivery departments
  • Completing 12 week checks of apprenticeship portfolios
  • Completing Interim and Final checks of apprenticeship portfolios
  • Hosting internal staff training on Safeguarding, EDI and Prevent
  • Hosting external learner and employer training on Safeguarding, EDI and Prevent
  • Apprenticeship curriculum timetabling and planning
  • Attendance tracking of learners Off the job teaching sessions
  • Apprenticeship Gateway planning and monitoring
  • Functional Skills tracking and reporting using BKSB
  • Personal Development monitoring and tracking for learners using LinkedIn Learning
  • Initial assessment Monitoring and Reviewing via BKSB

Experience/Qualifications/Skills 

  • TAQA or equivalent teaching and assessment qualification
  • IQA qualification or strong IQA experience
  • An individual that takes pride in the detail
  • Confident in using Microsoft online packages such as Teams, Outlook and SharePoint
  • A strong delivery background
  • Experience of Ofsted from a tutor/coach perspective

Desirable but not essential  

  • Teacher, training qualifications (eg: CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed)
  • TAQA or equivalent qualification (eg: D32/33, A1, CAVA)

Skills

  • Ability to plan, organise and priorities own workload
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to work to deadlines

The Role:
