Business Administration Apprenticeship
Our client based in Sheffield are looking for a Business Admin Apprentice to join their Team. The administration role requires a high level of organisational skills, a can do attitude and a high attention to detail. The successful candidate will also be enrolled on a NVQ level 3 business admin course to compliment the on the job training they will receive from the company. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Your role will primarily focus on the direct support to the office manager to ensure orderly running of the business administration activities. You will become the first point of contact for any incoming calls, visitors, and correspondence and route them to their correct destination. You will be allowed to build on your skills and knowledge and to grow to become a key member of our team with exposure to sales, marketing, finance, and data management. This role should be seen as a progression of your career at our business as all staff have grown organically to master their responsibilities.

We require you to be numerate, have a keen eye for detail, be organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have a polite and engaging manner with customers, have the ability to prioritise your work in a methodical manner, have a proactive and problem solving approach to work, and, lastly, you must have a sense of humour; we all want to enjoy our time at work, if work isn’t fun, then this isn’t the role for you.
The Position: Hours: Full Time (Short Term – Mainly Home Based)
Pay Rate: Negotiable dependant on experience
Minimum Qualifications / Experience: English C / 4 Maths C / 4 Computer Literate in Word, Excel, and other common Microsoft office tools.
Desired Qualifications / Experience: Full Clean Driving Licence CAD Experience
• Provide administrative project support as needed.
• Data capture and data entry such as populating estimates and project certificates.
• Answering phones, directing calls and fielding questions relating to enquiries.
• Follow up calls for submitted tenders and chasing opportunities.
• Organise and schedule meetings and appointments.

SHORT TERM- ROLE WILL BE BASED AS REMOTE WORKING (WORKING FROM HOME). ONCE LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED WE WILL BE MOVING TO OUR NEW OFFICES IN SHEFFIELD.
